AWAKENING SOUL SERIES

Irreducible Humanity

Stories of faith in dramatic circumstances around the world with Fr. David Michael de Penha, missionary priest from Burma, and Msgr. Mark Nzukwein, Bishop of Wukari, Nigeria, moderated by Msgr. Earl K. Fernandes, Bishop of Columbus, Ohio

We live in dramatic times, often marked by sorrow and desperation, especially among young people. There is, therefore, an urgency to show examples of how faith can sustain day-to-day life and fill it with hope, no matter how arduous circumstances may be. Speakers will share stories of members of the Catholic Church who, around the world (India, Nigeria, Myanmar), live with faith and hope in extremely difficult situations or even in danger of life because of their faithfulness to Christ.
