“You Can’t Die for a Dollar”

The Revolution of Amadeo Peter Giannini

The exhibition aims to retrace the episodes in the life of Amadeo Peter Giannini (1870–1949), an Italian-American pioneer born to Italian immigrant parents, who radically transformed the banking sector in the United States. Founder of the Bank of Italy, which later became Bank of America, Giannini undertook not only an economic commitment, but a social one as well—starting from a keen observation of reality and people’s needs.
