Fr. Jon Fincher
Fr. Jon Fincher is a priest of the Diocese of Tulsa. Ordained in 2020, he is currently the parochial vicar at Holy Family Cathedral and is the Assistant Vocation Director for the diocese. He attended Benedictine College and then entered seminary formation at Holy Trinity Seminary before continuing his studies in Rome, where he encountered Communion and Liberation. Whether celebrating Mass, leading a retreat, accompanying others on pilgrimage, or backpacking through the mountains, Fr. Jon seeks to help others recognize God’s presence in every aspect of life and respond generously. to His call. He draws particular inspiration from the vision of Servant of God Luigi Giussani, especially his emphasis on the experience of faith as an encounter with the living Christ in the ordinary moments of life; from the joyful witness of St. Pier Giorgio Frassati, whose adventurous holiness continues to inspire young people toward a life of prayer and generosity; the radical charity of Bl. Stanley Rother, who revealed Christ to the poorest and most forgotten; and the theological depth of Pope Benedict XVI, whose writings illuminate the harmony of faith and reason.
