Fr. Mauro-Giuseppe Lepori
Father Mauro-Giuseppe Lepori was born in Lugano in 1959 and graduated in philosophy (1982) and theology (1990) from the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. In 1984, he entered the Cistercian Abbey of Hauterive, where he served as abbot from 1994 to 2010, when he was elected Abbot General of the Cistercian Order and moved to Rome.
