Rose Busingye is the founder and Executive Director of Meeting Point International (MPI), a Ugandan NGO serving families and communities affected by HIV/AIDS, poverty, and displacement.  She has devoted her life to affirming the dignity and value of every person. Guided by her formative encounter with Father Luigi Giussani, founder of the Catholic movement Communion and Liberation, Rose discovered her calling to help people recognize their infinite value, beyond circumstances or limitations. At MPI, she pioneered the Distance Support Programme, which provides vulnerable children with education, meals, healthcare, and family empowerment, while journeying together to discover one's infinite value. All MPI activities are just tools to tell the person, “You are greater than anything I can give you.” The soul of MPI work is this educational journey.
