Tom Tobin has been a high school English literature teacher for the last thirty years. He taught for twelve years in the Montgomery County (Maryland) Public Schools System and has taught for eighteen years in the Avalon School, a start-up Catholic school in Wheaton, MD. In addition to raising four children, Tom and his wife Grainne have been hosts to a number of sons and daughters over these years.
