LOCATED IN THE LOWER LEVEL OF THE ALTMAN BUILDING

Kids’ Village: The World of King Arthur

“And Arthur said, ‘This table was made round so that no one would be left outside. Each seat waits, just as the world waits,
for the one it was made for. Come. Your place has been ready all along.’”

At Kids’ Village, children will be invited into the magical world of King Arthur. They’ll listen to the legendary tales of the Sword in the Stone, the birth of the Round Table, and the brave adventures of Sir Lancelot.

Then, the stories will come to life! Children will sit on Arthur’s throne, gather around the Round Table, and even take turns trying to pull the sword from the stone. Along the way, they will build everything a true knight needs—from shields and helmets to swords—using creativity, teamwork, and imagination.
And when they are done, they will not just be playing knights… They’ll belong to the Round Table.

The Kids’ Village is a simple and beautiful way to engage families and children in the New York Encounter experience. Rather than a “drop-off” place, it is where, together, we introduce our children to something beautiful and greater than themselves—something that can capture their hearts. It is a place where they can feel at home, a place where they belong.
